Throughout lockdown Shilpa Rao, Ayanna Witter-Johnson and Anoushka Shankar managed to pull together and create a new music video for the song Those words. They shot this video entirely during lockdown with the help of the gorgeous dancers Guro Nagelhus-Schia and Vebjørn Sundby to mirror the nostalgic and bittersweet feeling of the song.

There has been some new music collaborations released during lockdown. Anoushka was lucky enough to feature as a solo artist on none other than His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s new album Inner world. Have a listen to the track Ama La here!

So many charities are doing wonderful work to help people in need throughout this pandemic, such as the team at ‘pin your thanks’. Anoushka has created one of the designs for these pins and feels great knowing all profits will be donated to NHS charities. These ‘People’s Medals’ can be gifted as a heartfelt thanks to those who’ve helped during the Covid-19 pandemic.
She chose to design a tree motif to symbolise growth, strength, regeneration and wisdom.

Anoushka's brand new EP, 'Love Letters', is a collection of songs about love, heartbreak and healing. It features amazing artists such as Ibeyi Alev Lenz, Shilpa Rao, and Ayanna Witter-Johnson.
Anoushka recently played this new music at three sold out shows in London and will soon be touring them again in India this February.
2020 marks 100 years since Anoushka’s legendary father Ravi Shankar’s birth.
To mark the centenary the Shankar family are organising a series of Gala celebrations around the world in association with various venues.
