Anoushka Shankar announces the release of her new single Those Words, featuring British composer, singer and cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson and renowned Indian singer Shilpa Rao.
The track is taken from her upcoming EP, Love Letters, out on Mercury KX on 7th February.

A double release this month sees Anoushka debuting two singles: Bright Eyes and In This Mouth, both featuring her close friend the wonderful singer Alev Lenz. The pair initially worked together on the title song from Anoushka’s album Land of Gold, which was written in response to the refugee crisis.
Anoushka’s new single ‘Lovable’ featuring French-Cuban duo Ibeyi, is out now on Mercury KX, and focuses on heartbreak and loss as they sing “Am I still lovable, if you stop loving me? Am I enough, if you don’t want me?”
For this single, Anoushka has broken with personal tradition to undertake vocals for the first time, adding a soft, naked soprano to Ibeyi’s haunting harmonies, which also features on this track.
